Your summer guest card
The Guest Card Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal is the "ticket" to exciting and enjoyable experiences. It is valid for cable car rides to panoramic heights, environmentally friendly journeys on public buses and refreshing and relaxing visits to outdoor pools. The Guest Card is free of charge for anyone who spends three or more nights in one of the 28 partner municipalities between May 1st and October 31st. It is valid from the day of arrival to the day of departure.

In spring and fall, the cable cars sometimes have limited opening hours or weekend operation. Please note the current information on the website of the respective cable car company. For para- and hang-gliders who have a Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal Guest Card, the first ride per day is free either in Bezau or on the Diedamskopf.

Explore Vorarlberg by bus and train
Guest-Card Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal allows you to travel by bus and train throughout the Vorarlberg network. The rail network extends to the border stations of St. Anton am Arlberg, Lindau (Germany), St. Margrethen and Buchs (Switzerland). It also includes cross-border bus transport on line 46 (Hittisau – Balderschwang) as well as to/from Lindau, Scheidegg, Niederstaufen, Oberstaufen (all Germany) and to/from St. Margrethen (Switzerland) and St. Anton am Arlberg.
- Not included are trips with hiking and shuttle buses, trips with public transport in the Kleinwalsertal, tolls and the transport of dogs or bicycles.
- Laguzalpe – additional payment of a road usage fee
- Groups of 10 or more people must be registered online at vmobil.at at least two working days in advance.
- Dogs require a ticket and must be secured with a leash and muzzle.
Bregenzerwald bicycle bus: On the R1 bicycle bus line, (e-)bikes can be loaded onto the trailer of the regular bus and taken along. From Thursday to Sunday (May to September), the morning starting point is at Bregenz railway station and the destination is the village centre in Warth.
Alpine buses
Steris Alpe, Türtsch Alpe, Alpe Oberüberluth, Alpe Ischkarnei ... there are many Alps in the Großes Walsertal. Only the way there can sometimes be a little long and arduous. The Alpbus takes you comfortably to where cows, cattle and other alpine animals stay during the alpine season and where the alpine herdsmen and women go about their work.
