Breakfast at Restaurant Frööd
The first gourmet stop awaits you at Restaurant Frööd on the Burtschasattel - with a view of the Rätikon mountains and the Schesaplana, the highest peak in the region. Your start is at the valley station of the Dorfbahn cable car in Brand. The best way to reach the starting point in an environmentally friendly way is to take the L580 bus to “Brand, Dorfbahn”. The first stage to the first culinary station is very relaxed: Take the Dorfbahn and Panoramabahn cable cars up to the Burtschasattel. The Frööd restaurant awaits you directly at the mountain station of the panoramic cable car - and thus your first pleasure stop.
Walking time: Cable car ride with the Dorfbahn and Panoramabahn.
Lunch at the Alpengasthof Melkboden
Now it's off in the direction of Palüd. Along the way, you can enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and discover exciting secrets of alpine nature and its animal inhabitants along the Natursprünge trail. Your second stage begins directly at the Burtschasattel. From here, the trail leads you to the Parpfienzsattel and
then branches off to the left towards Innere Parpfienzalpe. Various stations of the Natursprünge trail await you along the way. The goods trail leads past the Innere Parpfienzalpe and further up to the Niggenkopf. From there, you hike along an easy forest path towards Palüd and on to Alpengasthof Melkboden. There, the Nekola family and the team at Alpengasthof provide another culinary highlight.
Walking time: 50 min to the Innere Parpfienzalpe, 55 min to Alpengasthof Melkboden
Sweet finish at the Valavier Aktivresort****S
Return to the valley on foot or with the Palüdbahn cable car - and continue to the sweet end of your enjoyable tour. On foot, you walk past the Palüd cornfields down into the valley to Brand Innertal. Alternatively, you can also cover this part with the Palüdbahn. From the valley station of the Palüdbahn, you then walk a short distance into the valley. At the chapel, switch to the other side of the Alvierbach stream. From there, the trail leads out of the valley. In the Brügga district, cross the stream again, go over the bridge and immediately turn right onto the footpath. Follow this to the Alvierbad natural bathing lake - from it is only a few meters to the Valavier Aktivresort. A delicious, sweet finish awaits you at the third stop, prepared by the Meyer family. Follow the main road out of the valley for the last few meters to your starting point.
Walking time: 2 h to the Valavier Aktivresort****S or cable car ride and 30 min walk out of the valley. Alternatively, you can also return by bus!
