Tour description

On the third day, we head to Alpe Laguz and continue via Garmil to the Oberpartnomalpe, where you can take a break. Well rested, you continue to the Hinteres Steinbild where you continue along the hiking trail with many hairpin bends and steps through a wooded area into the Huttlatal. From there, follow the service road back to Buchboden.

Sturdy footwear, warm clothing, rain and sun protection, a snack, a full water bottle and hiking poles are recommended. Additional equipment for an overnight stay in a refuge. Cell phone for emergencies.

Hiking parking lots in Buchboden

We recommend surefootedness, a head for heights and alpine experience. The daily stages can be divided up according to the weather and requirements.

A hiking map is recommended for better orientation on site. The special edition of the hiking map Holiday in the Großes Walsertal Biosphere Reserve at a scale of 1:35,000 is available from Raggal Tourismus and at biosphärenpark.haus.
