Tour description
From the Lünerseebahn parking lot, either take the cable car or walk over the Bösen Tritt to the Douglass Hütte. Over the dam wall, then left over the Saulasteig and the Saulajoch to the first overnight accommodation: Heinrich-Hueter-Hütte.
From there the next day, zig-zag up a steep south-facing slope over scree to the Zimbajoch and on to the Sarotla Hut. Further through the Sarotla valley to bus stop Bürserberg Tschappina and by bus to Lünerseebahn parking lot.
Duration: Approx. 7 ¼ hours or 8 ½ hours (via Bösen Tritt)
Variant 1
Day 1: approx. 2 ½ hours or 3 ½ hours (via Bösen Tritt) to the Heinrich-Hueter hut / Day 2: approx. 5 hours to bus stop Bürserberg Tschappina
Variant 2
Day 1: approx. 5 hours or 6 hours (via Bösen Tritt) to the Sarotla hut / Day 2: approx. 3 ½ hrs. to bus stop Bürserberg Tschappina
